We need to define a very short list of rules and how to notify folks of their travels. Feb 11th meeting we can go over this.
1. We need to define if the ride is to be done in alphabetical order or not. I would say not.
2. Meeting locations are not to be used as Letter knockouts. Seems like a waste, but I want everyones opinion.
3. How pics are to be presented? Digital cameras offer a large advantage in getting data online faster. One time use cameras should also be considered here as well. Bring your images in to the monthly meetings when your camera is close to full (after being developed). I have a very nice scanner and will upload for folks bringing on real pictures.
4. Would like to have webspace setup for keeping up with the groups travels and pics. I will take care of this part.
5. When turning in pics make certain to have the name of the location, all persons in the picture by known nickname, date, and distance travelled (from your home) if you want to be considered for the "Longest distance" award.
6. Always remember this is a fun thing to do and not meaning to be a competition. Bring back a story or interesting things seen on the travel. I see this as a way to explore parts of Texas you may never see otherwise. Go somewhere you have not been before for your letter knockouts.
7. Understand I was unable to find a established city starting with an "X" so if you find one let us know. Otherwise this is a gimme.

I was told that Robin has about 6 designed patches for this event.

If she could bring those to the meeting we can scan them in and post them here.
Need to determine an official start date.
Also need to define rockers for special effort rides. Del Suggested longest distance traveled. I wanted to split that up a little.
Longest distance (meaning to include outside the Texas boarders) Most distance traveled in state. Using only Texas cities.
Would like some input from folks other then the club officers (I heard from you already).

We may need to get someone else working on the patch if Robin doesn't have time to finish.

Duct Tape and Luaugirl have taken this on. A lot of talk about it but no one has actually signed up. The cost of the patches may cause this to be about $10 to sign up.
