Well the one big thing I heard before i bought my VN2000 was they go through tires fast.
Some people report getting only 5k miles and others 10k on the stock Bridgestone.
I had 7350 miles on mine and changed them out today. They were getting dangerous. The back one with the flat spot and the front with the bumps.
Put Dunlop 251's on the front and back at Cen Tex Powersports. Total damage with parts and labor was about $380.00. I would love to support our other area dealers, but no one can beat that price.
I got a couple quotes and I would have spent about $250 more at any of them.
I know Ctec also put new tires on last month with his VN2000.

Yep...great prices on tires from them folks. Nice bunch of folks, too, it seems. Wish they were a little further south, though. Been enjoying the ride on my Metzler 880's for the past couple months. Hope you have good luck with your Dunlops.

I did have both Georgetown Honda and Woods sya they would price match Cen Tex Powersports.
Billy at Texas Powersports also mentioned he can deal to a point.
The next part is the cost to install on the bike.
This ranges from $18 a tire at Cen Tex PS to $50 a tire at Woods.
Goldwing rear tires cost more than that...
