The bike is an 05' VN2000 with 7k miles. I ride it everyday. The rear tire was showing banding down the center and enough wear to make the tread design start to fade. The front tire was my real concern. All around the tire 3/4 of an inch off of center, spaced 2 inches down was a 1/2 to 3/4 square showing through the tread. These were not wear bars and they made the front end act squirrely. I replaced them Saturday and the bike feels spry and new again.
Glad I got to meet you guys on your trip to Marblefalls. Pretty area to ride in. Early fall is real nice.

Ctec,
Yes I saw that front tire and I agree with your description. My front tire at 6.5k is starting to get the bumps, but not as bad. I am thinking of going to the Dunlop 251 for my VN2000 classic Lt.
